I have a pretty rose bush called Peach Drift that is low maintenance and low in height but high in color and blossoms. It is considered a compact groundcover rose. I am very happy with this rosebush because the colors are gorgeous and the blooms are generous! Also, recently it was showcased on P. Allen Smith‘s television show.
The colors are pink, coral, and pale orange. I’ve had no problems with bugs or any problems and I’ve had it for four years. My only regret is that I planted it where I can’t see it from my patio doors! I just may decide to try and propagate it.
When the weather is gloomy and gray as it is today, you need a touch of mother nature’s beauty to feed your soul for your good health.

Enjoy my last blooms of this summer’s passing.

I can’t live without my cell phone. Even if I never called anyone, or no one ever called me, I’d HAVE to have a cell phone. Mine just ran out of space for some reason, so no more pictures until I figure out what’s caused that problem. Thanks for visiting my site. I love yours, and it looks like lots of other people do too!!! π

I used to think I couldn’t live without my wrist watch. Then one day it stopped working. I took it to a jeweler and they cleaned and oiled it. He said it might need some adjustment. I had to wait weeks for it because they had to send it out. I wore it for exactly one day and then it stopped working! I never went back and I never wore it again. I learned that I have a clock in my brain (we all do) so I’ve never needed it again. I do understand that some people really do need a cell phone for their business or lifestyle. For me, I just don’t need it. It would be more of a hassle for me than a help.
I love your site too. I wouldn’t have come across it it I hadn’t set up the “Ping” thing. Now I’m glad I did!

Beautiful colors! Do they have fragrance? And, I agree, how cool is that to discover we both did a post on roses today. Psychic connection maybe?

Thank you. Yes, they have fragrance but not a strong one. It’s not the kind of rose bush that you walk by and you can smell the roses. You have to bend down and put you nose in it. They are low to the ground. They come up to my knee, maybe a little higher. I noticed a few others posted about roses too. I’m surprised mine are still blooming. We’ve already had a freeze and we may get some snow thanks to the enormous storm that is hitting the east coast!

So cheerful! I bet you could easily propagate for a patio view. Thanks for the post!

Thank you. Isn’t it though? I wish the image was sharper. I may try again tomorrow at a further distance and then crop it. That may work better.

The only thing keeping me from getting a cell phone is that it just means one more thing in my purse! That’s right, I don’t have a cell phone. I’m the last of the holdouts!

LOL! Well, the other thing is, who wants to be at anyone’s beck and call? Yes, I know you can turn the thing off, but then you have to remember to turn it back on again. And, you have to remember to turn it off when you’re at certain events. Of course you have to program it, pick out the “right” tune, change the tune when you’re sick of it, etc. Who wants another annoying thing in their life! Not me! lol. There are just too many negatives for me. If I need a cell phone for an emergency, I’ll borrow one! It happened twice already! LOL! No harm done : – )
